This Privacy Policy explains how Sevoria ("the App", "we", "us") collects,
uses, and protects your information. The data controller is Hasan Mert Yilmaz.

1. Information we collect
- Account data: email address and the sign-in method you use (email, Apple, or Google).
- Profile data you enter: name, gender, age, height, weight, goals, and an optional profile photo.
- Nutrition data: the meals, calories, macros, and related entries you log.
- Meal photos: when you scan a meal, the photo is sent for AI analysis to estimate its nutrition. Photos are processed to generate the estimate and are not used to identify you.
- Purchase data: subscription status (we do not receive your card number; payments are handled by Apple/Google).
- Usage & diagnostics: app analytics events, crash reports, and basic device information, to keep the App stable and improve it.
- Apple Health (optional): if you connect Apple Health, we write the nutrition of meals you log to Health, and may read activity data you authorize. Health data is used only to provide app features. It is never sold, used for advertising, or shared for marketing.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the core service: tracking, AI meal analysis, coaching, and insights.
- To create and secure your account and sync your data across your devices.
- To process subscriptions and provide premium features.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve the App.
3. Legal bases (GDPR / EU users)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the App), based on your
consent (e.g. Apple Health, optional features), and our legitimate interests
(security, analytics, improvement). You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted processors strictly to run the App:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting).
- OpenAI — meal photos and coach messages are processed to generate AI estimates and replies.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Apple / Google — app distribution and in-app payments.
- Open Food Facts — food search queries (the text you type when searching foods).
Some providers are located in the United States; such transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account and associated
data are deleted from our systems. Some diagnostic logs may persist for a limited period.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can delete your account and all
associated data directly in the App (Profile → Delete account). EU/EEA users also have the right to
object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority
(in Poland, the UODO).
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your cloud data is restricted to your authenticated account.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
